TRANSPORTATION FROM KATOWICE AIRPORT TO KATOWICE DWORZEC

Unfortunately, there is no direct route from the airport to our university. In order to get anywhere in Katowice, you should first go to "Katowice Dworzec" which is the city's major bus station.

BY BUS: From the airport, you can drive directly to "Katowice Dworzec" with the "AP" bus.
Every 30 minutes from 05:15 until 23:20. Every hour from 00:20 until 04:20.

You can use the "Jakdojade" app. You can find there every route and also purchase a ticket.
The cost of the ticket is approx. 6 PLN / 1,40 EUR.
You can also buy tickets through the Transport GZM app or on the official website.

You can get to the bus at post no. 3 which is located in front of the terminal.

OTHER: For transportation, you can also use cab or Uber (approx. 100 PLN/ 25 EUR).

TRANSPORTATION FROM KRAKOW AIRPORT TO KATOWICE CITY CENTER

BY TRAIN: One way to get from Krakow to Katowice is to take a train from the "Kraków Lotnisko" station to the "Kraków Główny" station and then change trains to the one that goes to the "Katowice Dworzec" station. The cost of the ticket is approx. 35-45 PLN / 8-10 EUR.

BY BUS: In addition, transportation from the Airport can be provided by "Flixbus", then you need to search for the routes “Port lotniczy- Kraków Balice" to "Katowice Sądowa Dworzec". Click here: https://global.flixbus.com/

The cost of the ticket is approx. 30 PLN / 7 EUR.

OTHER: For transportation, you can also use cab or Uber (approx. 300 PLN / 75 EUR).

TRANSPORTATION FROM KATOWICE CITY CENTER TO AWF KATOWICE

BY BUS: "Katowice AWF" is the nearest bus station to our university, and there are numerous bus alternatives from "Katowice Dworzec" – the main station in the city center.

You can use the "Jakdojade" app. You can find there every route and also purchase a ticket.

OTHER: It’s also possible to take cab/Uber or a walk to reach the university.
